Decided to fly by on my way to bed.  Up early in the morning to go grocery shopping with my mum followed by some girlie gossip and a cup of tea.  May well take my stitching as well, might stop me dozing off in my dad’s chair (it will always be my dad’s chair).

Yes I actually picked up my needle again for the first time in 2 days.  I ditched the Lace Sampler, as I predicted I would.  I just can’t handle that fabric right now, so it can stay a UFO until I find a frame that is suitable to work with.  Next time I pick it up I may try some felt with my Q-snaps and see if that makes a difference.  With that fabric though I doubt it, even a hoop won’t hold it taut for more than .05 seconds.

So anyhoo, the current project of the moment is Bothy Thread’s Cut Thru Princess Palace, which is bright and cheerful to work on.  And I have gotten myself some motivation to finish both it and Loving, in the form of my Celly and her beautiful Cinderella angel.

So now sleep, tomorrow lots of stitching, or something.
